This book was won from Goodreads, courtesy of the publisher. Thanks!Dracula in Love tells the story of Dracula and Mina from Mina's POV. If you have read Bram Stoker's Dracula, you know the basic premise of the story. Being that this was told from a Victorian woman's POV, there was much formal speech, many, many adjectives and thorough descriptions of mundane things. I always tend to start skimming over those parts. The beginning of the story was very slow due to this. However, the plot and pace really picks up ans sucks you in. I enjoyed reading this book. I would be interested to read more of Karen Essex's works to see if the change in character changes the flow of the story. If so, I think her other books could be really good.
